Ok…if there is one thing I adore is crepes! Yummo! Not pancakes, too thick, not pikelets…too tiny…but gee then can be tasty with fig jam….but crepes…thin, light crepes be either as the mains or desserts.

Many years ago I was a member of the Regals Musical Society of Rockdale (Sydney). We would dine at a crepe restaurant..cafe in Glebe Point Road…in Glebe. They were the most fantastic crepes I have ever tasted! Light and full of seafood morsals…prawns (shrimp) crab etc. and a fab sauce. Generally, these days I only ever cook dessert crepes..my big fave? Simple lemon juice and sugar…yummo! This general recipe is: 1 cup of flour, 1 cup milk, 1/4 cup lukewarm water, 4 large eggs 4 table spoons butter 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

ok..bragging time…I was in Paris..oh la laaa…lol…a caravan truck selling freshly cooked crepes…I had ham and cheeze…ok..boring I know..but I was shy back then..lol. It was fantastic! How about you? Do you enjoy crepes and desserts? Tell us about your fantastic dessert journey? Cheers VL.
